My journey began after leaving school working alongside my grandfather as a general builder and carpenter for four years. This early hands-on experience laid the foundation for a passion that would define my career. Subsequently, I devoted 16 years to military service, where discipline and precision became integral to my work ethic.

Post-military, I pursued and acquired locksmith qualifications. I wanted to reach my full potential in experience and knowledge for my chosen line of work, to portray my best results to all of my customers. Being a Locksmith for me is more than just a trade, it's a source of profound satisfaction. It brightens my mood and mindset assisting individuals within the community, especially during the panic of lockouts, that's a service that brings genuine fulfilment.

Our key broke off in the lock on probably the rainiest day ever!
We tried ringing round a few locksmiths but eventually found Darren on a ‘near me’ search.
He was an hour away at the time but he dropped straight down to us, as he knew we were locked out.
We feel lucky to have found him, as our door also required a skilled joiner to fit a new lock into our oak door…. Darren did all of this for a very reasonable price.
He even gave us hot coffee while we sat in our shed as he worked!! Can’t recommend him enough.
So as you can see, I love the work I do and really value my clients!
Being a Carpenter and Locksmith, the two go hand in hand. Not all Carpenters are Locksmiths and not all Locksmiths are Carpenters but for me, the last few years doing both together has made a lot of sense.
